They have both been fundraising for many years for Scouts, but over the last 2-3 years the focus has been on an international trip to USA and World Scout Jamboree in Korea. They have learnt what works and what doesn't.
We know many of you will be seasoned fundraisers and have lots of ideas on how to make fundraising simple and effective, so we will be looking at ways for everyone to share and inspire each other.
We are bringing the world to Essex, and attending our Jamboree is a truly international experience that we hope will inspire the young people, leaders and staff to travel further, explore our world, make new friends and challenge themselves.
Our fundraising experts are on hand to help you make this a reality.
Emma and Sharon have seen first hand the positive impact that fundraising can have on the young people too - shy Guides suddenly gaining confidence from calling out raffle numbers, or Scouts coming up with new innovative ways to raise funds. The young people are part of this, and this is one part of their Jamboree journey.
