To support the director & deputy director pre, during and post event. Must be based in Essex and able to attend exec meetings in Essex when required. Own transport essential.
Work with Marketing & Media directors to ensure information is reaching all team members. Support with organisation and paperwork. Attend exec meetings when required (once every 3 months approx), Be able to proof read and have an eye for detail. Working with other directorates. You will be responsible for checking in on team members welfare during event.
Leading the support function for commercial opportunities and supporting the jamboree with sustainability.
To develop corporate partnerships and interest of the Jamboree with outside organisations and businesses. This will include advertising and sponsorship opportunities throughout the Jamboree and its media as well as sponsorship and contra deals of items within the Jamboree. Supporting the jamboree with sustainability. Liaise with head of programme partnerships.
We are looking for team members who has a keen interest in making videos to join the team to create content for the web site, YouTube and flickr for parents to see what is going on during the event. We will also be creating high quality content to add to the multimedia newsletter and not forgetting the advertisement video for the next event. We also need to provide a video for the closing ceremony.
Our Online Engagement Team are responsible for the EIJ website, and are charged with ensuring young people and volunteers can access all the information they need, when they need it. They're a dynamic team who need to be able to react and respond to requests as and when they come in, and work collaboratively to ensure the site works reliably across all platforms.
This role reports into the Head of Online Engagement, and is ultimately responsible for all content on our website. As the successful candidate, you'll work with volunteer teams across EIJ to build meaningful content for our users that's relevant, up-to-date and of a high quality.
You'll deputise for the Head of Online Engagement as required, and will be required to be part of a flexible on-call roster to ensure we can respond to urgent requests and issues when they arise.

This role requires you to attend Essex International Jamboree between the 27th July and 3rd August, 2024. You may also be required to join us for part of Build Week, which takes place from 22nd July.
As part of the role you will be required to take part in a flexible on-call roster, and to attend various EIJ planning weekends where possible (some Virtual, some in-person, usually at Skreens Park in Essex).
