Role Overview

Lead the planning and delivery of key stage-based programme elements at EIJ 2028, including opening and closing ceremonies, EIJ Presents and subcamp early evening talent shows. Working closely with the Head of Events, build and lead a team to deliver memorable, high-quality experiences that mark the beginning and end of the event. Support the wider Programme Events Team throughout event week. A creative, enthusiastic individual with experience in event production, show management or stage delivery is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of stage events, including ceremonies and talent shows
• Work closely with the Programme Events Teams to align plans and requirements
• Support delivery of wider programme events for participants and staff
• Lead and support volunteers and external contractors involved in stage delivery
• Delegate tasks effectively and ensure team members are confident in their roles
• Carry out risk assessments and enforce all relevant safety procedures
• Plan and manage stage timings across the Programme Directorate
• Attend planning meetings and respond to communications in a timely and professional manner
• Operate in full compliance with EIJ policies and procedures

Who we are looking for

Creative and enthusiastic individuals with experience in event production, stage management or show delivery. Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse volunteer teams, are required. Excellent time management and organisational skills in a live event environment are needed. Flexibility and adaptability, alongside a proactive mindset and genuine commitment to delivering an engaging, high-quality participant experience, are essential.
