Role Overview

Lead the social media presence for EIJ 2028 across all phases of the event, from pre-event promotion through to post-event coverage. Manage a team of content creators and work alongside the Directors of Media and Communications to ensure engaging, on-brand output across all platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage pre-event social media content and scheduling
  • Lead onsite social media coverage throughout the event
  • Manage a team of four content creators
  • Monitor and engage with relevant trends in the lead-up to and during the event
  • Oversee responses to comments and messages across platforms alongside Directors
  • Coordinate with the Directors of Media and Communications on content strategy and priorities

Who we are looking for

Creative individuals with a strong knowledge of social media platforms and current trends. Experience using Meta Business Suite or similar tools is required. Confident communicators who can work at pace and manage a small team are needed.
