Role Overview

The Site Services team within Facilities is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of the site environment at EIJ 2028, creating a safe, efficient and welcoming space for participants, staff and volunteers. This role leads the safe and efficient removal of wet and foul waste from the site. Report to the Director of Facilities and Deputy Director of Facilities (Infrastructure & Site Services).

Responsibilities

• Work with the Facilities Infrastructure team ahead of the Jamboree to plan the most efficient method for removing wet and foul waste from the site
• Lead and organise the team of volunteers safely removing wet and foul waste from the site during the Jamboree, working within the wider Site Services team
• Be on-site during build week and throughout event week
• Attend planning meetings and respond to communications in a timely and professional manner, on-site full time for the duration of the event

Who we are looking for

Individuals with previous Jamboree experience, a valid driving licence and a valid tractor licence. Safety-conscious, practical leaders able to manage volunteer teams.
