Role Overview

The Site Services team within Facilities is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of the site environment at EIJ 2028, creating a safe, efficient and welcoming space for participants, staff and volunteers. This role provides safe drinking water and hygienic facilities for the event. Report to the Director of Facilities and Deputy Director of Facilities (Infrastructure & Site Services).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of experienced volunteers to provide all plumbing needs for the Jamboree
• Work with the Facilities Infrastructure team ahead of the Jamboree to investigate and implement the most efficient water system to meet the needs of all Directorates
• Liaise with the water board to ensure an uninterrupted and safe water supply
• Hold additional responsibility for site layout
• Attend planning meetings and respond to communications in a timely and professional manner, on-site full time for the duration of the event

Who we are looking for

Experienced plumbers with previous Jamboree experience. Confident leaders able to plan and deliver a safe water system for a large-scale event are essential.
