Role Overview

The Site Services team within Facilities is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of the site environment at EIJ 2028, creating a safe, efficient and welcoming space for participants, staff and volunteers. This role leads the cleansing of toilet and shower facilities across the site. Report to the Director of Facilities and Deputy Director of Facilities (Infrastructure & Site Services).

Responsibilities

• Work with the Facilities Site Services team ahead of the Jamboree to plan the most efficient methods for cleansing toilets and showers across the whole site
• Lead and organise the team of volunteers cleansing toilets and showers in a safe and hygienic manner
• Be on-site during build week and throughout event week
• Attend planning meetings and respond to communications in a timely and professional manner, on-site full time for the duration of the event

Who we are looking for

Individuals with previous Jamboree experience and a valid driving licence. Practical, hands-on individuals who can organise volunteer teams to maintain high standards of hygiene are essential, along with a strong commitment to safe working practices.
