Role Overview

The Site Services team within Facilities is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of the site environment at EIJ 2028, creating a safe, efficient and welcoming space for participants, staff and volunteers. This role holds responsibility for all vehicles and plant machinery on site. Report to the Director of Facilities and Deputy Director of Facilities (Infrastructure & Site Services).

Responsibilities

• Work within the Facilities Support team to ensure all hired site vehicles receive daily checks
• Ensure volunteers using vehicles hold the appropriate licences and receive familiarisation training before first use
• Be responsible for booking and managing the use of all vehicles by Facilities and other Directorates during build, event and take-down
• Organise training and assessment for volunteers across all Directorates who need to use plant, equipment and vehicles at the event
• Attend planning meetings and respond to communications in a timely and professional manner, on-site full time for the duration of the event

Who we are looking for

Individuals with previous Jamboree experience, a valid driving licence, MEWP licence and tractor licence with relevant experience. Highly organised individuals able to manage a large vehicle fleet and coordinate training across multiple teams are essential.
