Role Overview

Work closely with the Registration and Information Teams to coordinate all aspects of international participation at EIJ 2028. Ensure that delegates, participants, leaders and international volunteers from around the world have a seamless, safe and enriching experience, aligned with the values and operational standards of the event. This position is a role shared with one other person.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of international delegate and participant engagement
• Work closely with the Registration and Information Teams to ensure smooth international onboarding and communication
• Build and maintain relationships with international partner organisations, including national Scouting and Guiding bodies
• Support international delegates and participants throughout all stages of the event, ensuring a positive and inclusive experience
• Lead and manage a small team of volunteers responsible for international support services
• Develop and implement operational plans to manage international logistics and risk
• Liaise across directorates to align with wider event planning
• Contribute to post-event evaluation and reporting
• Attend planning meetings and respond to communications in a timely and professional manner

Who we are looking for

Individuals with extensive experience in international coordination, ideally within large-scale event contexts. A strong understanding of cross-cultural communication and global Scouting and Guiding structures is required. Excellent organisational, planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex logistics across multiple stakeholders, are needed. Confident communicators who can build effective relationships with diverse international partners and work collaboratively across teams are essential.
