This opportunity is open to all Scout and Girlguiding Leaders in UK Scouting and Girlguiding, not just those who attended EIJ2204.
Following on from the success and popularity of the shotgun shooting line at EIJ 2024, BASC has funding to deliver heavily subsidised courses to Scout and Guide Leaders so they can safely organise shooting events on their own in the future. If your group wants another opportunity to go shooting we can also offer heavily discounted opportunities through our Regional and Country teams.
If you are interested in becoming a Shotgun Coach, you will need to have a shotgun certificate, be over the age of 21, and attend these two courses below:
If you are interested in becoming trained as a safety officer or as an instructor for air gunning there are two, one day £145 courses available:
If you are interested in any of these training courses contact Peter Marshall on 01244573063 or e-mail Peter.Marshall@basc.org.uk
If you are just interested in accessing a shooting opportunity for your group of Scouts or Guides contact your local BASC Region or Country. These opportunities are also funded so will be very reasonably priced depending on what you are looking for.
