Jamboree activities aren’t just for the young ones anymore, with an action-packed programme for leaders and staff. These activities take place everywhere from the Main Stage to the Urban Umbrella, Staff comforts to the Bar Stage!

The main stage has some of the more energetic activities including aerobics and yoga. The Urban Umbrella meanwhile has kept it cooler with quizzes and Neon nights for us to enjoy.  Staff comforts had some of my favourite activities including Lego! They also have a daily "cake o’clock" which has kept the media team well fuelled as we cover the event.

Staff and Leaders can even attend the activities the Participants have been enjoying all week. Each night one or two of the activity zones become available to enjoy. Kaitlyn Lafferty from the Australian Girl Guides took part in the activities at On Target and said “On target was a great way to challenge myself and step out of my comfort zone. It was scary to shoot a gun for the first time, but I loved all the activities.” I also spoke to Ian who took part in mountain biking in the motion activity zone where he described it as “making him feel young again”.

Alongside "cake o’clock" staff catering has been provided by Hot Stuff Catering aka The Marines! They’ve provided some incredible meals for us all and kept us well fed throughout. Without them the camp would cease to exist!
