Wednesday night saw our participants rocking out in our main arena to two fantastic acts. Redonizm opened with a rocking rendition of ‘Chelsea Dagger’ that drew our participants in and rapidly the field was bopping! When the fabulous Channy took over later in the evening our main area, the party was well and truly underway.

Redonizm entertained the crowd with a mixture of rock and pop with a rocked up twist whilst Channy brought her smooth pop vibes, it really was an evening for all. Skylar, Ayla, Harry and Georgia from 2nd Desborough Scouts said they came down because “we love music!” and “we want to party!” The atmosphere really was a party and everyone was singing along and having a good time. The dancing alone was enough to make anyone want to get into the mix, with a big circle of friends all jumping in to do their thing and people jumping up and down at the barriers in delight.

Some firm favourites with the crowd were ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ by Queen, ‘Castle on a Hill’ by Ed Sheeran and ‘Parklife’ by Blur. We witnessed all sorts of dancing ranging from the worm, the hand jive and even some folk dancing that would not have been out of place in a Dungeons and Dragons tavern! Later on, Channy brought us lots of well known covers including ‘Try’ by P!nk and ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ by Beyonce as well as her own hits such as ‘Play My Heart’ which went down a storm with the crowd. Channy herself came down from the stage to interact with the crowd at the front and was a firm favourite with our participants by the end of the evening.

We are very lucky to have such talented acts at EIJ2024 and they have really added to the experience for our participants. There is something different on the main stage every evening, so make sure you get down there to check out our entertainment!
