Want to spend your evenings doing something exciting? Come down and try the subcamp Challenge!

The subcamp challenge is an exciting and challenging way to spend the afternoon. To do this you have to walk around each Subcamp completing the activities, for which they will reward you by giving you a stamp. Once you have completed each challenge you will head back to your subcamp hub and get a  ‘Noa’ sticker and a badge.

The tasks are meant to be a mental challenge which makes you think logically. Some examples of these are: Decoders, unscrambling a puzzle and bouldering. Oliver from Braintree district explorers said “Great challenge. Definitely make you think on your toes but it is exciting to see what each activity is ”.

Shinano subcamp is described as having “one of the hardest tasks”. In this activity you have to create an origami ‘peace crane’.

“Very interesting, but difficult. It looks like you could make it in 5 minutes but it actually takes a lot longer ” - Brenden (1st Chiswell Green).

The Nile subcamp had one of the best challenges. This was where you had to run around the subcamp finding all of the hieroglyphics which decoded a secret message. “Difficult to find the letters but probably was the best activity we have done all day” - Zach, Cian, Keane (1st Stansted Scouts).
