An important request from the facilities team!

The facilities team would like to remind all staff and participants to separate their rubbish into the correct bins, including the recycling bins.

There are 27 Waste bins, 10 glass bin, 10 plastic bins, 10 metal/can bins and 46 food waste bins across the site, but the team have noticed that the recycling is not always being put in the right place. Sadly this means a lot of the recycling is ending up in the landfill, which means the jamboree has to spend money to get rid of rubbish.

The site is estimated to produce over 5 tonnes of waste each day, which would cost over £1000 to dispose of - money that could instead be spent on creating amazing experiences and memories.

So please, could everyone on site help us bring this cost down, by using the correct recycling bins.

Thank you, from Neil (Head of Dry waste)
