Fancy cooling down in this heat? Slide on down to Wet and Wild for a wild ride.

Kayaking, Marine challenge, Rowing, Body Zorbing are just a few activities on offer at this zone. Welly Wanging is a great way to test the strength of any participant, whilst having a competition against your friends. “Welly Wanging was so exciting, it was great to try something different” - Eva, Joseph and Logan (9th Colchester Explorers). Pull the plug is the way to go if you're into agility but also enjoy getting a little wet. Slide your way down an inflatable, over a hale bale and crawl your way to victory. “I really enjoyed it, got very wet but loved the water slide” - Lana.

Body zorbing proved to be a popular activity at this one, with a queue a mile long! It is an activity that brings participants together, encouraging physical activity - with the addition of lots of water of course! ‘It was so hot in the Zorbs, but it was a really really fantastic activity and would definitely recommend to other subcamps’ - Coco (4th Northumberland Explorers).

Participants also had the opportunity to learn about water safety. There were handouts and trained staff available for an educational learning experience - helping to educate young people on how to assist people in distress.

So if you are looking for an action packed activity zone - Wet ‘n’ Wild is for you!
