It’s time for the Balancing Act! No this isn’t the circus show in the Village Green, this is the Zone where all our participants can try their hand at slack lines, high ropes, inflatables and more. I caught up with James, Zone Leader for Balancing Act and leader of Sagarmatha ESU “Running the zone has been really good! Bit of a baptism of fire on the first day but since then it’s been pretty good!”
The participants were dashing from activity to activity and clearly getting into the zainy circus spirit. Rosie, Amelia, Pia and Anneka from 1st Somersham Guides are here for EIJ In A Day and were loving the activities in Balancing Act, “We’ve been on slack lines, that was very fun! We got across no problem! We’ve also been on the inflatables, they were good but tiring.”
Cathy, leader with Bury Guides, Ramsey Rangers and Ramsey Guides of Seine Subcamp was eager to tell me not just how good Balancing Act is but the whole week, “We’ve had a whale of a time this week! The girls have loved it, full on, the activities have been amazing, the staff have been amazing.”
Cathy also pointed out how the girls had been enjoying the style of the event too, “The highlight for the girls has been the freedom that they’ve had, going out at night, having fun and meeting the international people from other places.”
Balancing Act has been a popular choice with all this week so be sure to pop over and produce your Greatest Show!
