Earhart’s Fly-By event – Bas van de Ven

Monday, August 1st, 2016

Amelia Earhart was the first lady to fly all by herself over the Atlantic Ocean. So the Earhart’s staff set up a competition for the best, most beautiful airplane in the subcamp. A big variety of planes popped up on the central subcamps terrain.

Some of them could carry a whole squad, others were outfitted with sound and rotating elements. Pretty impressive stuff flew around the subcamp as you can see.

The eventual winner became the guides from 3th Hutton Guides. They made a plane were all guides were working together to create a lifesize plane. Well done girls.
